2023 12:26:50 +0000 Nina Merikallio https://ninamerikallio.studio/Contact &nbsp; Nina is a visual artist and photographer whose work begins with instinct. Working across photography, cinematography, and concept, she creates images that find the essential language of a subject—often stripping away what is unnecessary to reveal what is already there. She began her career in Finland in 2004, building a practice across fashion, advertising, and visual culture before expanding into the American market and an international field of work. Over the years, Nina has collaborated with brands including Adidas, Max Factor, Marimekko, Artek, Iittala, Pratima, and Finnair, creating campaigns and imagery that move between art, design, and culture. Alongside her commercial practice, Nina has developed an increasingly personal body of work as a visual artist. Her photographs have been exhibited in New York, Paris, London, and Berlin, including a recent exhibition at the prestigious Hole Gallery in New York City. In 2027, Nina will present a new body of work in London, marking the next chapter of her ongoing exploration of photography as a space for observation, atmosphere, and feeling.
